At The Heavenly Hound Pet Cremation, we understand that your beloved pet isn't just an animal—they're a cherished member of your family, a source of unconditional love and countless happy memories. When the time comes to say goodbye, the heartache can feel overwhelming, and we want you to know you're not alone in your grief. Our family owned and operated business offers compassionate and dignified cremation services, treating every farewell with the same care and respect we would for our own. We're here to lend a paw to your family, honoring the beautiful life you shared and helping you find a peaceful sense of closure.

Our Availability & How to Reach Us

We truly understand that saying goodbye to a beloved family member can happen at any moment, day or night. While our Google listing may show our hours, please know this means we're always reachable by call or text, day and night, to support you. As a small, family-owned business, we also manage our own full-time careers, so we're not physically at our facility to intake pets 24 hours a day.

All of our services are by appointment only, ensuring we can give your pet and your family our full, undivided attention during this sensitive time.

For immediate care and guidance, please call or text us anytime, 24/7. If you reach out between 8 AM and 5 PM, a text message will typically get you the quickest response. For urgent needs in the quiet hours of the night, please give us a direct call. If we're momentarily unavailable, please leave a voicemail or send a text, and we promise to get back to you as quickly and compassionately as possible.

Temporary Business Changes

We wanted to share some very special news with our community: our family is growing! We are expecting a baby in just a few weeks.

As a family-owned and operated business, we are working hard to ensure this transition is seamless for the families who rely on us during their times of grief.

Since opening The Heavenly Hound, we have strived to offer maximum flexibility; including late-night, early-morning, and weekend availability. To allow Susan time to rest and prepare for Henry's arrival, our availability may be slightly more limited over the next few weeks and/or months.

While Susan and Andy may not always be the primary faces greeting you at our facility or answering the phones during this transition, we have an incredible, dedicated team in place to care for your beloved pets with the same dignity and compassion we always have:

  • Susan’s wonderful mother, Mary, has officially stepped in to help! She is a certified crematory operator (the amazing things mothers do for their kids!) and will be helping with clerical work, answering phones, invoicing, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

  • Stephanie has been with us for nearly a year now and is a familiar voice to many of you during the week. She will continue assisting with clerical work and pet intakes. Because Stephanie is also a fellow small business owner, intake appointments will be coordinated around her schedule

  • Our newest team member is Hallie! Hallie is currently in training and will be dedicating her special talents to crafting your pets' precious keepsakes; including clay and ink pawprints, nose prints, and hair clippings.

  • Andy is still working hard, often behind the scenes, to ensure your beloved pets receive the highest level of care. From performing cremations and engraving custom urns to building maintenance and assisting with pet intakes, he truly is a jack of all trades and our biggest anchor.

Owning a pet crematory is deeply emotional and time-sensitive work. This is a brand-new chapter for us, and we are learning as we go. We kindly ask for your patience, grace, and understanding over the coming weeks as our team steps up to care for your families while we care for our expanding one.
Thank you all for your endless support of our family business!

Important Updates to Our Services & Availability

  • Turnaround Times & Pickups: You may notice slightly longer turnaround times for returning your beloved pet back to you during this time. Additionally, our availability for in-home or veterinary office pickups will be limited.

  • Stray Services & Transport: Our commitment to the community and our Rainbow Fund remains unchanged—we are absolutely still dedicated to helping deceased strays. However, we will not always be able to provide pickup services. If you encounter a stray and are able to safely transport them to our facility yourself, we would appreciate the assistance.
