Our hours of operation may be limited because as small business owners, we also have full time jobs, but you can call or text us 24/7. If we’re unable to answer, please leave a voicemail or send a text, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

We are available to receive your pet by appointment during the hours listed below. If you require our services outside of these hours, please contact us to make arrangements.

The Heavenly Hound wanted to share some information to help understand what options are available when managing the loss of a pet

To ensure we're available for you, please communicate with us via phone, text, or email.

We understand that the loss of a pet can be overwhelming, and sometimes immediate action is necessary. To best help you and your pet, we ask for at least 30 minutes to an hour notice. This can help us plan accordingly and ensure we're there for you.

 

Home Pick-Up: If your pet passes at home, we can arrange to pick up your pet from your home. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements. We understand sometimes these situations are unexpected and we will do everything we can to be there for you.

Vet Pick-Up: We can arrange to pick up your pet from the vet. Please notify us at least 24 hours before the appointment so we can make arrangements with your vet. We will call them to arrange, but please make sure to let them know you'd like to use our services.

There will be a pick-up fee for in home or vet pick-up

Within 20 mile radius of Liberty - $30

Add $1.50 per mile after 20 mile radius of Liberty

Pet Intake: You are always welcome to bring your pet to our facility. Please contact us to make arrangements so that we can ensure we are here to accommodate you and your pet.

Delivery of Remains: We offer delivery of remains and keepsakes at no additional cost to Richmond (Monday thru Friday only). We currently work in Richmond M-F. If this option is preferred, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. If delivery is preferred outside of Richmond or during the weekend, an additional fee may apply.

Remains Pick-Up: Remains and keepsakes can be picked up at our facility by appointment only.

We often get asked if we're open on weekends. The answer is yes! We understand that losing a pet can be an unexpected and heartbreaking experience, and it doesn't always happen during regular business hours.

Whether it's a late-night or a weekend loss, we're here for you. We're committed to providing compassionate care and support, no matter the day.
